Terrible Lizards achievements

Fifteen achievements, and they split cleanly: five you get by finishing levels, five you get by accident, and five that almost nobody has. Here is what each one wants and a checklist that remembers your progress.

The shape of this list tells you what kind of completion run you are in for. Fourteen of the fifteen are achievable in a single relaxed playthrough. The collectible five require a second, deliberate pass with a guide open, because they only pop when you have the complete set.

Story achievements

These are unmissable. If you finish the game, you have five achievements and roughly 16% of players will have the same five.

Welcome to Dalton's Dinos

96.6% of players

Enter the dinosaur roadside attraction.

Unmissable. It pops within the first few minutes, and it is also what unlocks the Dead by Daylight badge and banner codes in the main menu.

Welcome to the Underground

71.9% of players

Finish Level 1.

The level ends after the first Brontosaurus chase out of the gift shop. The name is a JT Music reference, not a hint.

That's DINO-mite!

41.9% of players

Finish Level 2.

The level ends with the dynamite arena. Finishing it also unlocks the Dead by Daylight charm code.

Slime-o-saurus

20.6% of players

Finish Level 3.

The Allosaurus level: train tunnels, the freight area and the four-fuse rail cavern.

Finally

16.0% of players

Finish Level 4.

Beat the game. This also unlocks New Game Plus.

Misc achievements

Five small ones. Four of them happen by accident; the fifth, Paleo Pal Review, needs you to actually press the mascot talk boxes rather than walk past them.

How was the fall?

87.4% of players

Die from fall damage.

Jump off any high ledge. You respawn at a nearby checkpoint, so this costs you seconds rather than a run.

Join Us for a Bite

56.9% of players

A dinosaur ate you.

Get caught once in any chase. The first Bronto chase is the earliest opportunity, and almost nobody finishes the game without this.

Paleo Pal Review

55.2% of players

Interact with every Paleo Pal talk box.

Press the talk boxes belonging to Benji, Alistair, Stephanie, Dennis and Pterry as you pass them. They are part of the attraction, so they sit on or beside the main path.

Kick the Rock

44.8% of players

Kick a specific rock.

Nearly half of all players get this on a normal run, which means the rock is on the critical path. Interact with loose rocks when the prompt appears.

Globe-fetti

27.4% of players

Spin a globe.

There is a globe prop in the attraction's offices and exhibit rooms. If you see one, interact with it; a quarter of players walk straight past.

Collectible achievements

These are the whole 100% grind, and the reason the platinum is rare. Each one requires a complete set across four levels, and the sets overlap — Hoarder wants all of them at once.

Audiophile

0.3% of players

Find all the audio tapes.

Audio tapes are optional lore recordings. Listen to them as you go and use the collectibles page to see what each set unlocks.

You Go Here

0.2% of players

Place every stuffed animal.

Stuffed animals go on pedestals around the attraction; one is in the reception-area tent. A launch-week Steam thread reports this achievement as possibly bugged, so place the last one somewhere quiet and let the pop settle.

Hoarder

0.2% of players

Find all collectibles.

The catch-all achievement. In practice it means every amber, note, audio tape and stuffed animal.

Pterry's Scrapbook

0.2% of players

Find all the notes.

Notes are scattered across all four levels. Some have doodles in the margins, and several double as puzzle hints.

Bingo, Dino DNA

0.2% of players

Find all the amber.

Every fourth amber unlocks a New Game Plus modifier, so this collection pays out twice.

PS5 trophies and Xbox score

  • PlayStation 5: the same fifteen plus a platinum, for sixteen trophies in total. The campaign is identical on every platform.
  • Xbox and PC Game Pass: the fifteen total 1,000 Gamerscore. Finally, Hoarder and Pterry's Scrapbook are the big ones; the misc achievements sit between 20 and 50.
  • Steam: no separate score, but the global percentages are the most useful difficulty signal we have.

A 100% roadmap

  1. Run one: story first, collect what you see

Do not stop for every note. Press the talk boxes, spin globes, kick loose rocks, and pick up amber when it is on your route. You will finish with ten achievements and a mental map of the levels.
  2. Run two: collectible sweep, level by level

Use the collectibles page as a checklist. Do one level at a time and finish the set before moving on — partial sets do not pop anything.
  3. New Game Plus: mop up

NG+ unlocks after the credits. Its modifiers, especially low gravity, make several collectible routes easier, and amber collected in the main run still counts toward modifier unlocks.
  4. Last: the awkward misc ones

If Kick the Rock or Globe-fetti is still missing, they are on or near the main path. Walk the Level 1 exhibits slowly and interact with everything loose.
